bb thrift part 2

I popped over to one of my favorite close-to-work thrift stores yesterday. It had been quite a while since I’d been there and they’ve moved things around a bit and increased their prices. Which I don’t love, but I also don’t blame them. Times are tough. I was on a bit of a time crunch so was only able to grab three things, but one of them is a very fun Dansk fish platter! So a win in my book.

Unfortunately I cannot resist a fish platter. Or really any fun fish decor! Dansk is always great quality as well so this was a fun find.

I liked the speckles on this tall mug! Google is trying to insist this is a Royal Norfolk mug but it’s not. It’s stamped “Japan” on the bottom and isn’t square like the Royal Norfolk mugs that have a similar colorway to this. Otagiri maybe?

Just a really lovely studio pottery piece. The picture’s a little overexposed so it’s not showing how bold and pretty the drip glaze colors are. It’s a great weight and would look sooooo pretty with some wildflowers anywhere in your home.

I usually need to make multiple sweeps of a thrift store when I’m there, it’s easy to overlook things sometimes. I’ll try and visit again on Friday. There was a very cute box with a kitty cat on it that I almost grabbed and now I have regrets. Fingers crossed it’s still there!
